Follows the guidelines set out by the SAPCA (South African Pest Control Association).
The offer to purchase will dictate which organisms need to be fumigated in order to issue a clearance certificate.
The certificate is valid for 3 months from date of issue.
The building on a property is visibly free from any sign of active infestation by the following:
- Cryptotermis brevis (West Indian Dry wood Termite),
- Oxypleurus nodierii (Brown House Borer),
- Hylotrupes bajulus (Italian Beetle),
- Anobium Punctatum (Common Furniture Beetle),
- Lyctus brunneus (Powder Post Beetle),
- Nicobium casteneum (False Furniture Beetle),
- Subterranean Termites,
- Any wood-destroying organisms of economic significance in accessible areas.
- General pest infestations e.g. cockroaches, fleas, rodents.
